What’s new? Online bank Revolut will add support for the Solana blockchain-based “dog” meme token BONK. The platform will also run a $1,2 million “Learn and Earn” campaign. The program is aimed at increasing the user base of BONK by 500 000 people. Against this background, the asset’s exchange rate jumped by 15,5% to $0,0000145 over the day. As of 07:00, the value of BONK corrected to $0,0000143, the weekly increase amounted to 36,2% (data from the CoinGecko aggregator).

What else is known? BONK is the first “dog” meme token on Solana, it was launched in late December last year. The developers position the project as a meme coin “created by people for people.”

5% of the total 99 trillion coin offering at launch was distributed to the Solana community, including developers, creators, and users, to increase liquidity on the ecosystem’s decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

On December 6, the capitalization of BONK jumped by 36% overnight, as a result of which it moved up to third place in the ranking of “dog” coins, overtaking FLOKI. BONK rate started to grow actively back in early November, and since the beginning of the year, it has added 1346%.

On December 14, BONK’s rate rose by 45% after the listing was announced on the Coinbase crypto exchange. The asset was added to the platform with the label Experimental, which warns of the risks of price and liquidity fluctuations.
