What’s new? The supporters of Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the Silk Road darknet platform for the sale of the illegal drugs, have announced the creation of a decentralized autonomous organization FreeRossDao.
We are officially launching @FreeRossDAO🕊, an open community aimed at buying Ross Ulbricht's NFT collection and funding the mission to #FreeRoss and fight for prison reform. https://t.co/TnDiYQR71Xfreerossdao.ethLet’s save a life 👇https://t.co/q7lP2ztTWS— 🕊✨ PleasFreeRoss (@PleasrDAO) December 2, 2021
What are the goals of the organization? FreeRossDao's mission is to achieve the three main goals namely the release of Ulbricht, the implementation of the prison reform, and the promotion of the Silk Road creator's creative projects to a wide audience.
What actions are being taken? To raise funding for DAO, the organization will sell 10 NFT drawings by Ross Ulbricht and one animated video.
“Today, we unite in solidarity with Ross, raise funds to purchase his Genesis Collection, and protest the injustices of the US prison system,” the organization said in a statement.
If they win the auction, all the DAO members will own a share in the NFT following the amount of the contribution made.
