What’s new? The developers of altcoin Shiba Inu (SHIB) have revealed details about the launch of their own metaverse on their blog. The project has been tentatively named Shiberse, with a working title to be published shortly.
What are the details of the project? As in other metaverses, the users will be able to buy virtual items and real estate. The owners of Doge Killer (LEASH), a native token of the decentralized ShibaSwap exchange, will be allowed to enter the first phase of sales, under a queuing system that will help prevent “bots and gas wars.” Once the first sales are completed, the purchase of digital assets will become available to the rest of the users.
The Shiba Inu team has also announced a collaboration with an unnamed partner:
“We have already been negotiating and meeting with some top partnerships about this project. All for this exciting new environment to be welcomed with great energy and the way it’s intended to.”
The project has long ceased to be a meme token and is catching up with its main rival Dogecoin in popularity. The developers are actively developing the cryptocurrency, and have recently announced the launch of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to enable token holders to manage the project.
