What's new? Switzerland's largest online bank, Swissquote, is launching its own cryptocurrency trading platform. Jan De Schepper, chief sales and marketing officer at Swissquote, told Finews Asia that the project will be launched before the end of the first half of 2022.

What is the bank's offer? The company plans to add stablecoins and staking services to its list of cryptocurrency offerings. The Swiss bank supports 24 cryptocurrencies, including the most popular, namely, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, Dogecoin, Polkadot, and Solana.
The chief sales and marketing officer stated:
“Swissquote began expanding its staff in response to the surging demand for cryptocurrencies last spring and will continue hiring for further expansion. Our compliance and customer service teams were almost overrun by the crypto rush.”
