What’s new? The decentralized mobile crypto Uniswap Wallet has become available for download on the Apple app store in most countries around the world. In early March, developers reported that Apple delayed adding the app to the AppStore for unknown reasons, but now iOS users can buy cryptocurrency with a debit card across various blockchains, including Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

What else is known? Uniswap Wallet is an open-source application designed for the self-custody of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Users also have access to view market charts and multiple options to protect their funds, including Face ID, encryption, and creating seed-phrase backups either manually or using iCloud.

The wallet is developed by Uniswap Labs, which in 2018 also launched Uniswap, a decentralized exchange (DEX) based on the Ethereum blockchain. The native token UNI, designed to provide liquidity, ranks 19th in the cryptocurrency ranking with a capitalization of $4,75 billion and is trading at $6,3. It has added 3,02% per day (according to Binance as of April 14).

In February and March, Uniswap surpassed the centralized US crypto exchange Coinbase in terms of spot trading volume.

On April 10, the developers of the crypto wallet MetaMask released a decentralized application Portfolio Dapp to buy cryptocurrencies for fiat. With its help, residents of 189 countries will be able to buy more than 90 digital assets across eight blockchains.

Earlier, the crypto wallet Trust Wallet, part of the ecosystem of the Binance exchange, also added the ability to buy digital assets for fiat. It was implemented in cooperation with crypto payment services Moonpay and Ramp Network and allows transactions without using centralized platforms.
