What’s new? Venture capitalist and entrepreneur Tim Draper predicted back in 2018 that bitcoin’s price would rise to $250 000, and he still holds that view. In an interview with Scott Melker, he revealed that his prediction could come true by the end of 2022 or early 2023.
What else does the entrepreneur say? Draper explained why he thinks the BTC price will exceed $250 000. According to him, the value of the asset will begin to rise when women start to actively use it. The venture capitalist noted that previously there was only one woman among the 14 bitcoin holders, but now there is one in six. Draper explained:
“All the women will have bitcoin wallets and they will be buying things with BTC and you are going to see a bitcoin price that will just go right through my $250 000 estimate.”
What events happened before? A survey conducted in March by crypto financial firm Blockfi found that nearly one in three American women plan to purchase cryptocurrencies in 2022. Moreover, 60% of that third indicated that they intend to do so in the next three months.
The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Access Abu Dhabi entered into a partnership with domain name provider Unstoppable Domains to provide free crypto domains to all women living in the UAE capital.
