Vitalik Buterin releases book about Ethereum’s creation

What’s new? On September 27, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin released his book titled “Proof of Stake (The Making of Ethereum and the Philosophy of Blockchains).” It is a collection of his notes and essays on the development and philosophy of the blockchain that he has written over the past 10 years. The book can be purchased in digital and print versions. There are also unique copies signed by Buterin in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

What is known about the book? In his book, the Ethereum co-founder talks about the development of the network and also discusses the concepts of the Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus algorithm andthe network’s transition to Proof-of-Stake (PoS). It can be purchased for between $12,99-$16,99, depending on the type of edition.
Buterin plans to use the proceeds of its sales to support open-source development through the Gitcoin grant program. 10% of the total proceeds will be received by the book’s publisher, Seven Stories Press.
In August, it became known that White Paper Films began work on a documentary about bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto called “I Am Not Satoshi.” The director is Christopher Cannucciari, who directed “Banking on Bitcoin” (2016). The film itself will tell the story of Satoshi’s disappearance and his search.
