What’s new? Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of the investment firm SkyBridge Capital, predicted the price of bitcoin to rise to $100 000. The increase in the number of bitcoin wallets indicates that BTC will reach six figures by 2024, Scaramucci told in an interview with CNBC. He believes that the cryptocurrency will gain more “public trust” as the number of transactions and active addresses increases.
What else did Scaramucci add? The director of SkyBridge stated that wallets indicate people’s trust in bitcoin. The number of bitcoin wallets reached 245 million in April 2022 and 85 million in October 2020.
“As the number of wallets and transactions on the network increases, the public will get more confidence in bitcoin and its accounting more and more [...] When reaching one billion addresses, the cryptocurrency would easily translate to a price of $500 000 per coin,” Scaramucci believes.
Earlier, the analysts at the investment firm VanEck stated that the price of BTC could reach $4,8 million if it becomes a global reserve asset. Also Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the bestseller “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” predicted the collapse of the dollar and advised to buy precious metals and cryptocurrency.
