What’s new? The founder of the DeFi project yEarn Finance, Andre Cronje, and the senior solutions architect, Anton Nell are leaving the crypto industry. The latter announced this on his Twitter.
“Andre and I have decided that we are closing the chapter of contibuting to the DeFi and crypto space. There are around 25 apps and services that we are terminating on April 3, 2022.”
How did this decision affect the price of tokens? After this tweet was published, the price of the yEarn Finance token fell by 11% and the Multichain altcoin fell by 20%. In addition, Solidly Exchange announced that it will cease operations after April 3. The platform’s native token collapsed 66% and the volume of blocked funds dropped from $2,21 billion to $1 billion.
Despite the price collapse, the users are urged not to panic. Most of the projects that Cronje worked on are supported by the current development team.
