What’s new? Boston-based venture capital company Bain Capital Ventures has announced the launch of its own crypto fund, Bain Capital Crypto (BCV). The fund is focused on investing in cryptocurrencies and has already attracted about $560 million under its management.

What else is known about the crypto fund? BCV's activities are focused on the long-term perspective. The release notes that the company intends to support pioneers who are creating a new generation of Internet infrastructure, including cryptocurrencies and Web 3.
Among the key areas for investment are shares of crypto and blockchain companies, as well as promising digital currencies. The project’s portfolio already includes such well-known projects as Compound Finance, MakerDAO, ZeroHash, BlockFi, ParaFi Capital, and others.
Bain Capital Ventures was founded in 1984 in Boston (USA). It is one of the world's leading private investment firms with $155 billion under management.
