What’s new? An unknown person withdrew 407 BTC from a bitcoin address that had been inactive for eight years, Whale Alert reports. The holder bought the cryptocurrency for $355 254 in 2013. On March 7, he withdrew bitcoins for $15,46 million, making a 4234% profit.
What does the crypto community say about this? Some people assume that the owner of the wallet has only now been able to regain access to it. Over the past few months, there has been an increase in such cases. In September 2021, an investor transferred all his 616 BTC to different accounts after 9 years, and in December a wallet with 321 BTC was reactivated.
