What’s new? The international recruitment company Deel has published “State of global hiring report 2021.” According to research results, Argentinians' salaries have increased by 21% in the last six months. This is due to cooperation with international companies. More and more employees are signing contracts for salaries in cryptocurrency. BTC is most often withdrawn, 63% of transactions are associated with it. The second place is taken by ETH - 23%. Stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies are used less frequently.
Why is this happening? The Argentine government is loyal to cryptocurrency and it supports the solvency of its citizens. Many Argentine employers and commercial platforms are aimed at signing cryptocurrency-related contracts.
“We are seeing an increase in cryptocurrency withdrawals in Argentina. We currently offer withdrawals in BTC, the most popular in Latin America, ETH, USDC, and SOL through Coinbase,” Deel COO Dan Westgarth stated.
