What’s new? The E11EVEN Partners, a company that owns the club of the same name in Miami, announced in a press release the purchase of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT #11 for 99 ETH ($396 000). CEO Michael Simkins said E11EVEN is “interested in exploring marketing opportunities” of the purchased token.

What does Simkins say about the purchase? The head of the E11EVEN Partners said his firm contacted the owner of the token via Discord. Initially, he was reluctant to sell his NFT, but afterward “the parties came to a mutual agreement.” Simkins was surprised that his favorite monkey was number 11, so he wanted to buy the token.

How is E11EVEN related to digital assets? The Miami nightclub is known for being the first in the United States to start accepting payments in cryptocurrency. According to the company announcement, the facility has already processed more than $4 million worth of cryptocurrency transactions. This year, E11EVEN also announced that its real estate division has partnered with the FTX exchange to begin accepting crypto payments at its homes and hotels.
