Moneybox received £35 million from Fidelity to grow crypto business

What’s new? Asset manager Moneybox has completed another round of funding. A total of £35 million ($45,85 million at the exchange rate as of April 5, 2022) was raised as part of the Series D round. Most of the funds came from the US financial holding company, Fidelity Investments, AltFi reports.
What is known about the company’s plans? Moneybox co-founder Ben Stanway has revealed his intentions to launch a number of cryptocurrency services. The main focus will be on portfolio diversification with a few percent share in cryptocurrencies. The first opportunity for customers will be to invest in bitcoin, followed by the addition of “one or a couple more” assets.
Moneybox was founded in 2016 in London. It employs around 300 people and has around £3 billion under management from 800 000 customers.
