What’s new? Morgan Creek Digital co-founder Anthony Pompliano said that Wall Street investors and major financial institutions plan to invest heavily in cryptocurrency. In his YouTube video, he explained that this will happen once there is clarity in the regulation of the industry.
What else did the expert add? During Pompliano’s interview with LMAX Group CEO David Mercer, the latter stated that “the six major banks, they’re ready to go as soon as they get a green light from the regulatory environment.”
Pompliano also claims to have had conversations with sources confirming similar institutional sentiment and interest in bitcoin in particular.
Morgan Creek Digital is a hedge fund specializing in artificial intelligence and blockchain technology and digital assets, backed by investment management firm Morgan Creek Capital. It was founded by Mark Yusko, Jason Williams, and Anthony Pompliano in 2018.
Earlier, Canadian businessman and investor Kevin O’Leary said that support from U.S. policymakers could trigger an influx of institutional capital into the crypto market and, as a result, spark the growth of bitcoin. In his opinion, BTC will trade in the range of $17 000 to $22 000 until the US authorities begin to introduce crypto regulation measures.
