What's new? The Russian State Space Corporation “Roscosmos” (Roscosmos) plans to create a blockchain ecosystem as part of the federal Sfera program. This was reported by Igor Pshenichnikov, chief expert of the Department of Advanced Programs and the “Sfera” Project of the state corporation Roscosmos. He added that the development will help to comply with international trends while making the project and the state as a whole as safe as possible, TASS reports.

What else does Pshenichnikov talk about? The expert noted that a unified digital platform will be developed, through which traditional services and products can be created: banking and private IT platforms, which can be accessed by all participants. Pshenichnikov added that individuals and companies can connect to the platform to create their own projects using “Sfera” services.
What had happened before? The Federal Notary Chamber (FNC) took part in an experiment of the Federal Taxation Service (FTS) of Russia which consisted in exchanging machine-readable electronic powers of attorney using a blockchain platform. The new technology will make the circulation of powers of attorney more efficient and secure, increase the convenience of citizens when applying to a notary, and simplify the process of issuing a digital power of attorney.
