Shiba Inu developers reveal the name of the new game project

Shiba Eternity will be released in September 2022 and will be available on the App Store and Google Play

What’s new? In honor of the second anniversary of the release of the meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB), the project team revealed the name of the video game they are developing jointly with PlaySide Studios. The game, called Shiba Eternity, will be released in September 2022 and will be available on the App Store and Google Play. It will be a collectible card game that will likely integrate non-fungible tokens (NFTs). An exact release date has not yet been reported.

SHIB is an Ethereum blockchain-based meme token issued according to the ERC-20 standard. The altcoin was launched as an alternative to Dogecoin (DOGE) in August 2020 by an anonymous person or group of developers under the pseudonym Ryoshi.

SHIB is trading at $0,000012 as of August 2, 11:45 UTC, having lost 1,5% in price per day, according to Binance.

What happened earlier? In July, it became known that the Shiba Inu network had partnered with the visualization company The Third Floor (TTF), which worked on the Marvel movies. TTF will be responsible for developing a virtual environment for the future Shiba Inu metaverse. Shiberse was announced back in February. As in other metaverses, users will be able to buy virtual items and real estate.

Also in July, the developers of Shiba Inu announced the launch of their own stablecoin, the coin will be released by the end of 2022. The team noted that it takes into account all the problems faced by previously released stablecoins, in particular the TerraUSD (UST) crash.
