What’s new? SkyBridge Capital, an investment firm founded by former Donald Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci, plans to launch a new fund for mining cryptocurrencies. This is evidenced by the data of the application filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

What is known about the company’s plans? According to CoinDesk, a new fund called SkyBridge BTC Mining L.P. has raised around $7 million, and the investments will be allocated for the development of bitcoin miner Genesis Digital Assets. This is the investment company’s second investment in the project, last year Genesis raised $431 million, according to CoinDesk.
What had happened before? In early April, Anthony Scaramucci predicted the price of bitcoin to rise to $100 000. In his view, the increase in the number of bitcoin wallets indicates that BTC will reach six figures by 2024.
