What’s new? Tether, the issuer of USDT, the largest USDT stablecoin by capitalization, is launching an initiative to promote education on blockchain and digital assets in Taiwan. The company will organize courses for students in conjunction with the National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), also known as Taipei Tech.

What else is known? The initiative is inspired by the success of a course on blockchain and digital assets that were previously held for students at the College of Management at NTUT. Other educational institutions also intend to partner with Tether to launch similar educational programs.

The courses aim to provide comprehensive education on the basics of blockchain and cryptocurrencies from both technical and business perspectives, develop critical thinking for self-assessment of potential risks, and explore approaches to regulating the industry. It is separately emphasized that the courses promote the principles of rational and prudent investing, distinct from speculative behavior.
