What is known about ETF? The tool under the ticker XBTF is a bitcoin futures ETF managed by VanEck. In October, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the company's application to launch the fund. Trading was originally planned to start at the end of October but was later postponed until November.
At the moment, similar tools from ProShares and Valkyrie Investments have been launched on the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges. Thus, there are three SEC-licensed bitcoin futures ETFs operating on the market. At the same time, the Commission does not yet support applications for a spot bitcoin-ETF.
