What’s new? Donald Trump's election campaign published an income report, according to which he owns native Ethereum (ETH) blockchain coins worth over $1 million. In addition, the politician receives substantial revenues from license fees for non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
What else is known? According to analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, Trump's wallet contains more than $3,6 million worth of cryptocurrencies. The largest share is ETH, but the address also holds wrapped ETH (WETH), USDC stablecoins, and several meme tokens, including Fight to MAGA (FIGHT) and MAGA Again (MAGAA), which uses the politician and his previous campaign slogan as a mascot, as well as TROG and GUA coins.
In addition, Trump earned $7,15 million from a license agreement with NFT INT, and his wife Melania earned $330 609 in revenue from the sale of NFTs.
Trump began releasing his own NFTs in December 2022, and has since released three collections that have been in high demand. In July, he announced the release of a fourth collection.
According to the NFT marketplace OpenSea, the trading volume of tokens from Trump's collections has exceeded 15 808 ETH, which is $41,5 million at the current exchange rate.
As part of the new election campaign, Trump paid special attention to cryptocurrencies. He started accepting crypto donations, proposed to create a national bitcoin reserve and promised to support American miners in case of re-election.
