What’s new? Twitter’s social network team integrated 30 more cryptocurrencies into the functionality of price viewing, first introduced on December 21, 2022, for Bitcoin and Ethereum. At the same time, the developers promised to continue working on further improving the user experience and adding new tickers.

What else is known? New cryptocurrencies have been added as part of the $Cashtags initiative. With this feature, users can view price charts of various assets by typing a name or ticker in the search tab. Among the newly supported cryptocurrencies are USDT, SHIB, AVAX, ADA, SOL, MATIC, BUSD, LTC, UNI, and DOGE.

Twitter gets the data for the charts from TradingView, a technical analysis platform, they also include a link to online broker Robinhood, where one can not only see changes in the value of assets but also buy them.

Earlier, engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong posted an icon of Twitter Coin and posted a picture of the future section “Tips” in the social network’s settings. Twitter Coin’s logo was first published on December 3 by a social network user under the nickname Nima Owji. He also wrote that Twitter was working on its own coins. In November, Wong reported that Twitter was developing its own crypto wallet.
