What’s new? The Binance cryptocurrency exchange became the first crypto partner of the Grammy Awards. It is known that the cooperation will last for a year and the exchange will present technological solutions and Web3 expertise for the music ceremony. Other Grammy sponsors this year include IBM, Mastercard, OneOf, Grey Goose, Bulova, Hilton, SiriusXM, PEOPLE, FIJI Water, Frontera Wines, and United.

What is known about the Grammys? It is an annual music award presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. This year’s ceremony will be held on April 3rd in Las Vegas.
What preceded it? Warner Music Group previously entered into a partnership with blockchain game developer Splinterlands. The deal gave the label’s musicians the ability to create and develop play-to-earn games. In March this year, Universal Music bought Bored Ape NFT #5537 for 125 ETH. Based on the token, the label will create a character for the music group Kingship.
