What’s new? The Louis Vuitton fashion house has launched NFT rewards for the mobile application, Louis: The Game. The users who have collected a certain number of in-game tokens will be eligible to participate in the raffle of 10 NFTs. It will run until August 4, according to Vogue Business.

What is Louis: The Game about? The game was launched in August 2021 and is timed to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the birth of the brand’s founder, Louis Vuitton. Its protagonist, the fashion house’s flower-shaped mascot named Vivienne, travels and collects postcards with information about Louis Vuitton. In addition to the NFT rewards, the brand has also added new quests as part of the game upgrade.
What had happened before? In October 2021, Dolce&Gabbana held its first-ever NFT auction, Collezione Genesi, which raised 1 885 ETH. The tokens were designed by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for the UNXD platform.
In early April, the Italian luxury brand Off-White started accepting cryptocurrency payments in stores in London, Paris, and Milan. The company made payments available in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Binance Coin, Ethereum, Ripple and Tether (USDT), and USD Coin (USDC) stablecoins.
