What’s new? The volatility of the cryptocurrency market did not scare off investors in the US, but rather gave a boost to digital asset purchases. For example, a report by the research company The Balance indicated that 39% of US investors have invested more in crypto assets as they “change their investing and savings habits amid a withering economic outlook.” The Balance conducted the survey between June 30 and July 9, covering 1200 respondents over the age of 18 who manage all or part of their finances.
What else does the study say? 41% of survey participants said they are investing more in stocks under the influence of market uncertainty, while about a third of respondents are investing in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and index funds, respectively. 34% of investors reported no change in their investment habits at this time. Nearly 20% of investors said they were investing less than usual in cryptocurrencies at the time of the survey.
In March, Morning Consult published a survey conducted in the US market, the results of which showed that 91% of Americans knew about cryptocurrencies. 19% of respondents already owned digital assets, which, according to analysts, indicates a high level of acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the US.
