What’s new? The Customs Service in Adler detained a smuggler in a truck carrying 27 cryptocurrency mining hash boards. The vehicle was en route from the Republic of Abkhazia. According to the law enforcers, the total weight of the seized equipment exceeded 45 kg. The information about this was published in the press service of the local customs administration.

How did events develop? The customs officers reported that during an inspection of the vehicle’s cabin, they found metal plates wrapped in cellophane under the driver’s berth. The law enforcers assumed that the devices found are hash boards used for mining. The service added:
“The driver had no documents for the goods and was unable to explain the purpose of the devices. The goods have been confiscated, the samples were sent for examination.”
