What’s new? The head of the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao, in an interview for Les Echos has announced plans to open a full-fledged headquarters in France.

What other statements were made? During the interview, Changpeng Zhao stressed that France had become a “natural choice for a regional and possibly global head office”. Within 6-12 months, the exchange may become a digital asset service provider in this country.
Among the main goals of this decision, the CEO of the exchange highlighted the desire to operate in full compliance with regulatory rules. Together with having physical offices where customers may resolve potential problems, this will gain the trust of 95% of the global population that does not yet use digital assets in their daily lives.
