What’s new? Roger Bartlett, a former Goldman Sachs top executive, has announced his move to Coinbase. In a post on the LinkedIn website, Bartlett said that after 16 years at the investment bank, he will lead financial operations at the exchange.

What does Bartlett say? He added that he will work with the platform’s team to help customers “embrace opportunities offered by digital assets and its ecosystem.”

Who else has moved into the field of digital assets? Gaurav Budhrani, a former Goldman Sachs employee, has joined mining company PrimeBlock as CEO in November 2021. Former managing director Alan Konevsky took over as its chief legal officer. Later that month, former Citi executive Matt Zhang launched Hivemind, a venture capital fund focused on crypto and blockchain startups.
