What’s new? According to Korea JoongAng Daily, Netmarble, a Korean video game publisher, is partnering with Binance to create a global blockchain gaming ecosystem. The crypto exchange will provide game developers with its blockchain platform and technical infrastructure.

What are Netmarble’s plans for this collaboration? The developers will create a new sidechain on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to create GameFi and the initial game offerings (IGO) on the Binance NFT marketplace. The new game will operate on the P2E principle of “play to earn.”
Netmarble will also launch its own cryptocurrency in March. The company is best known for developing popular mobile games such as Everyone’s Marble and Seven Knights, with a market capitalization of about $8 billion.
