What is Shiba Eternity? It is a collectible card game, introduced in August 2021, by Shiba Inu Games in collaboration with Australian game studio PlaySide Studios. The latter is known for games such as Animal Warfare and Idle Area 51. In August, a test version of the game was launched in Vietnam, where it became very popular. Developers had to increase the server capacity by 50 times to meet the increased demand from Vietnamese users.
Wow, we had to increase the gameplay server capacity FIFTY-FOLD to deal with the players coming in from the Vietnam test launch! #ShibaEternity #PetYourShiboshi— william_volk (@william_volk) August 15, 2022
In Shiba Eternity, users can collect cards to get a unique deck, train their own pets, create an army and fight other players.
Amid the launch of the game, the SHIB price has begun to rise. The asset is trading at $0,00001097 as of September 20, 08:20 UTC, having gained 3,3% in 24 hours, according to Binance. The token ranks 14th in the CoinMarketCap rating, with a capitalization of $6 billion.
SHIB is a meme token based on the Ethereum blockchain, issued under the ERC-20 standard. The altcoin was launched as an alternative to Dogecoin (DOGE) in August 2020 by an anonymous person or group of developers under the pseudonym Ryoshi.
In July, Shytoshi Kusama, the chief developer of Shiba, reported that the SHI stablecoin would be launched by the end of 2022. He added that the team was taking into account all the problems faced by previously released stablecoins, for example, UST.
