What’s new? According to the Thai media, there was a fire at a bitcoin mining farm in the Chiang Mai province. The fire completely destroyed the farm's infrastructure and caused $60 000 worth of damage.
What is the cause of the fire? According to the preliminary version, the fire was caused by overheating of the equipment and a wiring fire. All 72 miners were located on the second floor of the office building.
Since there was nobody in the neighboring premises at night, the fire was discovered too late. The damage from the incident is currently estimated at $60 000.
