What’s new? Interop Labs has developed a new product called Fullport, designed to enhance the interoperability of the decentralized open-ended futures (DEX) exchange Hyperliquid. The tool, which utilizes the Axelar communication network, will connect Hyperliquid’s HyperCore Layer 1 (L1) blockchain to Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based EVM chains such as Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Base, as well as the Ethereum mainnet and Solana blockchain.

What else is known? Axelar-based Fullport was launched in closed beta testing on July 30. The developers note that this is an important step towards making Hyperliquid a more accessible platform for participants in the global multichain market.

Fullport provides a simple, fast and secure way to transfer liquidity directly into HyperCore from leading blockchains such as Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, and Solana.

Transfers are processed in as little as 10 seconds, allowing traders to move away from using legacy asset transfer bridges in favor of a more user-friendly and intuitive interface.

Future Fullport features include a native trading interface for making perpetual swaps directly from the Fullport app available in a limited number of jurisdictions, adding assets and listing tokens via Axelar’s Interchain Token Service (ITS) for HyperEVM and HyperCore networks, and rewarding active users.

“Hyperliquid is quickly becoming the premier venue for price discovery in on-chain markets. With Fullport, we’re simplifying access – building a seamless path from wherever liquidity lives into the markets that matter,” said Sergey Gorbunov, CEO of Interop Labs and co-founder of the Axelar protocol.

Interop Labs develops, financially supports and incubates projects in the areas of blockchain interoperability, cryptography, and machine learning, including as a core member of the Axelar network.
