How did the first meta-fight take place? Both athletes used Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. Interestingly, in the metaverse, they had to play as characters from the movie “Rocky 4.” So, Nurmagomedov chose Apollo Creed, and his opponent, Ivan Drago.
The fight ended with a confident victory of the Russian fighter already in the first round by a knockout. Khabib Nurmagomedov himself stressed that he sees the future in the metaverse, but after the virtual fight, he feels no less tired than after a real one.
