Swiss crypto bank SEBA granted a license to operate in Abu Dhabi

What’s new? A press release has been published on SEBA Bank’s official website announcing that it has received a license from the regulator of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The bank’s statement notes that this will allow it to expand its range of services in the UAE and the geographical reach of the institution’s activities as a whole.

What is known about the bank’s future plans? SEBA is a bank previously licensed by the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). According to the institution, the license from the Abu Dhabi regulator will allow it to provide clients with the following types of services: advising on investments or credit, as well as arranging investment deals with cryptocurrencies
“The UAE is now a global leader in digital assets and blockchain, with the Emirates Blockchain Strategy is planned to be introduced in the country by the end of 2022 will only strengthen its position,” the SEBA representatives commented on obtaining a license.
