What’s new? The official Twitter account of analytics company Elliptic has posted news about the hiring of Mark Aruliah, an ex-employee of the UK regulator FCA. According to the announcement, Aruliah will join the unit that is engaged in the analysis of the crypto market and working on the compliance of the company’s activities with current legal requirements.

What else is known about the specialist’s experience? At the FCA, Mark Aruliah was involved in the development of capital markets policy and was also part of the Financial Crime Advisory Team. The former FCA employee has also been involved in cryptocurrency regulation, including amending existing UK legislation.
The representatives of Elliptic stressed that Aruliah’s wealth of experience will allow the analytics company to strengthen its regulatory and compliance positions both in the UK and across the European Union.
