What’s new? French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has applied for trademark registration in the metaverse. As part of the application, the Parisian club announced the creation of NFT, virtual items, and a crypto wallet. This was announced by trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis on his Twitter.
What preceded it? Earlier, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta announced the club’s intentions to create its own metaverse with its token and NFTs.
