Шакир Эркан Гюль, заместитель министра финансов, сообщил, что законопроект будет представлен на утверждение Великому национальному собранию Турции в октябре 2021 года.
Основные цели законопроекта: защита инвесторов и борьба с отмыванием денег. В нем определят основные категории криптовалют, правила выпуска и условия для соблюдения кастодиальных сервисов.
С 30 апреля платежным оператором запретили оказывать услуги с использованием криптовалют.
