What’s new? A trader under the nickname Tree of Alpha reported on his Twitter account that the social network has begun testing Twitter Coins functionality. Currently, a set of 150 tokens is available for $1,99, which can only be purchased through the Stripe service. Tree of Alpha said it bought one set and received 215 coins for it. While the user is researching what one can get for them.

How to get coins? The Coins section is currently available with certain settings. Tree of Alpha said that this requires changing all optional values in the code from “false” to “true” to enable all optional features that are in the Twitter store. After that, the Coins section will appear in the menu.

Last November, engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong reported that Twitter was developing its own crypto wallet. Later, she posted an icon of Twitter Coin and a screenshot of the future “Tips” section in the settings of the social network. Wong discovered them in Twitter’s source code.
