What is known about the new employee? Wad began his career at Microsoft in the early 1990s, helping to create major software products such as Excel and Bing. After that, he worked at Google and Facebook before returning to Microsoft in 2016 to take on the role of corporate vice president of product and engineering. He says he wants to ensure that Binance remains the securest, fastest, and most liquid exchange in the world.
What had happened before? In the past year, the company has been actively trying to build its reputation by hiring executives from the IRS, Interpol, and political circles, showing it takes regulatory issues seriously. In November, Binance announced the appointment of Martin Bruncko as its new executive vice president for Europe.
