What’s new? The Bank of Russia has begun a search for a blockchain developer. The potential candidate will be required to develop technology prototypes and participate in the development of advisory reports, amendments to regulations in the field of digital assets and distributed ledgers. Another important responsibility is interacting with and interviewing related departments at the Central Bank. The job search announcement was published on hh.ru.
What else is known about the vacancy? Among the requirements for the candidate, representatives of the Central Bank noted the mandatory experience of interaction with crypto assets and the development of systems using distributed ledger technologies.
By the end of the year, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance by order of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will agree on a position to regulate the crypto market and mining.
In 2024, the Central Bank will begin to gradually connect all banks to the digital ruble platform. The regulator will also support cross-border payments in the national digital currency. At the same time, the Bank of Russia is against the legalization of private crypto assets, as well as settlements with them within the country.
