What’s new? Joe Rogan in his podcast with mixed martial (MMA) fighter Khalil Rountree compared bitcoin to the early Internet. As with the global network, national governments did not expect such rapid adoption of cryptocurrency. The podcaster noted that BTC has become a “viable form of currency” and can be used to make purchases.

The fighter quoted a refugee from North Korea who managed to leave the country using BTC, calling the first cryptocurrency a “tool of freedom.”
