What’s new? US technology company Stripe, which develops solutions for electronic payment processing, has agreed to collaborate with the FTX cryptocurrency exchange. This was announced by Stripe co-founder John Collison on Twitter. FTX’s users will be able to buy cryptocurrency and NFTs using debit cards. The crypto exchange will also integrate the Stripe Radar software based on machine learning models, designed to reduce fraud risks.
What do the company’s representatives say about the project? Collison added that Stripe will introduce a simplified KYC (know your customer) system to the exchange and integrate user verification. FTX.US president Brett Harrison claims that the company is already seeing a higher speed of processing requests.
Tristan Yver, Head of Strategy at FTX stated:
“The optimizations we made in our payments setup with Stripe deliver the smooth on-ramp experience FTX’s growing customer base demands.”
