The United States Air Force has filed a trademark application for Spaceverse, defined as “a secure digital metaverse.” The application was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on April 14, 2022. This was announced by trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis on his Twitter.
More details about Spaceverse. The concept will combine terrestrial and space physical and digital realities. Spaceverse will also include a virtual environment for testing and training Air Force pilots.
What had happened before? On March 25, 2022, Yum! Brands, the owner of Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) filed several trademark applications for NFTs and metaverse.
