The SBI Crypto pool is a subsidiary of the Japanese financial conglomerate SBI Group, which is also a partner of Ripple.
The attackers stole $21 million worth of assets from SBI Crypto. They managed to gain access to the company’s wallets on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin Cash networks. The stolen funds were transferred to exchanges and then sent to Tornado Cash.
