Что произошло? 12 июля компания Tether, эмитент крупнейшего централизованного стейблкоина USDT, выпустила еще 1 млрд монет на блокчейне TRON. USDT, привязанный к доллару США, занимает третье место в общем рейтинге криптовалют с капитализацией 83,85 млрд долларов, согласно данным агрегатора CoinGecko.
Что было ранее? 13 и 22 февраля компания также выпустила по 2 и 1 млрд монет в сети TRON, а 21 июня сожгла 3,1 млрд USDT, накопленных в казначейском кошельке в рамках сетевых свопов за прошлый период.
USDT, помимо TRON, доступен в сетях Ethereum, Solana, Algorand, EOS, Liquid Network и Omni. 21 июня Tether анонсировала запуск актива в сети Kava, после чего курс нативного токена KAVA подскочил на 14,4%.
10 июля Tether заморозила 2,5 млн USDT, связанных с недавним взломом кроссчейн-протокола Multichain.
