What are the prospects? The first collection will feature non-fungible tokens with a unique design that Ronaldo developed together with the crypto platform. According to the head of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, the exchange team will provide fans of the footballer with an exclusive opportunity “to interact with the idol.” Ronaldo noted:
"Nothing is more important to me than the fans, so the idea of bringing unprecedented experiences and access through this platform is something that I wanted to be a part of."
In late May, English Premier League soccer club Manchester City announced the release of an NFT collection with 3D images of players. There will be four drops of the team's non-fungible tokens at the end of the season. Manchester City officials partnered with NFT marketplace Quidd.
