Official website of the exchange
What is the suspension related to? The blocking of users' funds and the closure of their withdrawal options are related to the US Treasury Department's investigation, which included the exchange on its sanctions list. The institution believes that funds from darknet marketplaces, as well as fraudulent projects such as Finico and QubitTech, were laundered through the platform.
Chatex claims that users' funds are safe, but transactions will not be carried out until the issue with the Department of the Treasury is resolved. In addition, all accounts are currently blocked indefinitely.
